I love Guillermo del Toro. I really do. But when I saw the trailer for his upcoming monster-pocalypse flick, Pacific Rim (in theaters July 12, 2013), all I could do is shake my head and ask, "Why hast thou forsaken me, Guillermo del Toro?"
Today, I bring you the trailers for Oblivion, the new Tom Cruise sci-fi action epic, and After Earth, the new Will Smith sci-fi action epic. Here's the deal...maybe it's just me, but I really can't tell them apart. Oh god, has it happened? Have Tom Cruise and Will Smith finally gone and made the same movie?
I kicked the comic book habit a while ago, so I was not acquainted with a graphic novel by Matthew Spradlin and Anthony Vargas called Bad Kids Go to Hell. But now that it's been made into a movie, which opens today, I've heard of it. In fact, I've even located the trailer and embedded it below for you, dear reader. You know, just in case you're as lame as I am and haven't heard of it either.
