The new feminist documentary about Wonder Woman's legacy by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan and Kelcey Edwards has a trailer!
Gloria Steinem, Lynda Carter, and Lindsay Wagner are just a few of the people interviewed by Guevera-Flanagan and Edwards for their feature documentary film The History of the Universe as told by Wonder Woman about female superheroes, warrior princesses and the "ideal" woman in popular culture. The film explores our culture's love of comic book superheroes and raises questions about the possibilities for women within the genre, Wonder Woman's legacy, and the feminist movement. They released a trailer on their Kickstarter page for their now fully-funded project. We're so excited we could jam a red hot poker up your ass.
