Wil Wheaton Rides a Unicorn Kitten to Battle Lupus in 'Clash of the Geeks'

Wil Wheaton and others have collaborated in creating a collection of short stories somewhat revolving around a clown-sweater wearing Wil Wheaton, an orcish John Scalzi, and 'Pegasus Unicorn Kitten'. If that doesn't fill you up with fuzzy wuzzies, then consider this; 100% of money raised by the e-book will be donated to the Lupus Alliance of America.

Wil "Shut Up Wesley!" Wheaton has been a long favorite of FanGirlTastic; the man has a fantastic sense of humor regarding his campy role as Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: the Next Generation. His character was especially known for his love of ridiculous sweaters and infectious boyish charm. While a 'Pegasus Unicorn Kitten' might not have ever actually appeared in the program, it is our belief that, if it had, Wesley Crusher would have tried to ride it.

Clash of the Geeks is comprised of stories written by Wil Wheaton, John Scalzi, Patrick Rothfuss, Catherynne M. Valente, Rachel Swirsky, Stephen Toulouse, Scott Mattes, Bernadette Durbin, and John Anealio. This e-book is, technically, 100% free - however, donations to the Lupus Alliance of America are sincerely encouraged for all who download it (and of course, even those who do not!).

I always liked Wesley Crusher and his mom wasn't too bad either. I've had a lot of people call me Wesley Crusher but I've never bothered to ask why.

I think both Wil and Wesley were born in the USA. I'm not positive on Wesley's birthplace but I do know it was at least on the planet Earth July 29th, 2349.
