Viscera is back for its second year on July 17th, 2011!
We here at FanGirlTastic are the supporters and sponsors of the Viscera Film Festival, a non-profit organization that promotes the best new short horror films made by women by screening them at an official event. The second annual festival will take place on July 17th, 2011 at the Silent Movie Theater in Hollywood, California.
And me, owner and editor of FanGirlTastic, am acting co-director of the festival with the creator, Shannon Lark. So I'm super super excited about this. Last year we had over 200 attendees for our first film fest, and this year we're shooting for even more.
Submissions are FREE and open to any short horror film directed, produced, or written by a woman (see submissions page for details and visit the official site at www.viscerafilmfestival.com for updates and news).
