New Featurette for 'The Tempest'

A new featurette has been released that sums up the story behind The Tempest, and we have it embedded below just for you!

The featurette contains brief interviews with cast members Helen Mirren and Alfred Molino as well as director Julie Taymor. The Tempest is Taymor's take on the work of Shakespeare, with the interesting deviation of casting Prospero, a man, into Prospera, played by Helen Mirren.

After seeing the trailer, featurette, and various stills, I will say that the film looks to be absolutely visually stunning. Helen Mirren has this strange and powerful charisma that just seems to perfectly lend itself to this casting.

The Tempest is scheduled to hit theaters on December 10, 2010. Check out the featurette and let us know what you think with a comment below!

Robby the Robot is played by Anne Francis in this version.

As long as Helen Mirren's in it, I don't care who plays Robby. I love her.
