VH1's tacky reality series Scream Queens gets a new set of judges for season 2: Scary Stud March 2006 Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs) and horror actress Jaime King (My Bloody Valentine 3D, The Tripper).
10 aspiring vapid actresses get the chance to win a role in Saw 3D, the next film in Lionsgate’s Saw horror franchise. Season one winner Tanedra Howard was featured in the “opening trap” scene in Saw VI playing the character “Simone.”
This season’s cast...
will once again be put through a horror film boot camp with intense physical challenges, learning how to work with creatures, gore, and stunts, while also building their acting chops. The winning actress will have to prove to the panel of judges that she has the talent, the looks, and especially the lungs to be a true “Scream Queen.”
"When the call came," admits Sullivan, "there was no way I could say no."
SCREAM QUEENS 2 airs this summer 2010 on VH1.
Alright, I loved Saw 1, and I liked Saw 2 (not so much the acting). And really, I am a horror geek and can put up with the cheese to sustain my addiction throughout the series. But this is getting out of hand. On the OTHER hand, I loved Scream Queens, and am actually really excited about the second season.
None of this is to say I'm not going to WATCH the new "Saw"s. I'm just not gonna be happy about it.
- If you were the only suspect in a senseless bloodbath - would you be standing in the horror section?
