A new red band trailer for the upcoming remake of The Mechanic has been released, and is embedded below for your viewing pleasures!
Jason Statham stars as the so-called 'mechanic', which is an elite assassin (personally, I think it'd be more clear if he was called 'elite assassin', but maybe that doesn't sound quite as cool). Things get personal when Statham's boss gets killed, and so the hitman tutors his dead friend's son on the art of killing before taking him on a murderous and revenge fueled rampage against their common enemies.
Jason Statham, regardless of his character name in the film, is set to play Jason Statham, which is the same character that appeared in such films as The Transporter, Snatch, Ghosts of Mars, Crank, The Pink Panther, and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, among many others.
Whatever Statham's range, I'll surrender that the trailer looks like fun. There's a lot of violence, blood, and about .675 seconds of a single boob. Please don't click unless you are at least 18 and don't mind .675 seconds of exposure to a boob. You're old enough? You don't mind a boob? Okay, go click! Much like Charlie Bronson, Statham plays the same character over and over again. And much like Bronson, it's cool with me. My fave was Transporter 2, where he played a guy that took this from here...to there...again. Genius!

Same with Eastwood - sometimes they're just better movies if the dudes play themselves.

Off the top of my head: 'We met Amelia Earhart,' 'We singlehandedly eliminated most of the Borg fleet' or 'Paris and I turned into giant pink lizards and mated.'"
