In Nazis at the Center of the Earth, probably based on true events, Dominique Swain and Jake Busey are scientists based in Antarctica who discover a secret Nazi base hidden in the center of the (duh! you didn't know?) hollow Earth. They are accompanied by a bunch of other young, hot scientists who were sent to do science in Antarctica. Can you believe Nazis have been hiding in the center of the Earth all this time?
Here is a still image of Dr. Jake Busey and his crack team of hardcore gelolomologists and snowologists, bundled up for the Antarctic cold, at the actual opening to the center of the earth which shows the high production values and attention to detail for which The Asylum is known and respected:
Asylum Dude Paul Bales himself wrote the script, so this is going to be the "most Asylum" movie ever made by The Asylum. It's out on DVD on April 22, 2012, in the 'Nited States, but Paul will be sending me my much-anticipated press screener far sooner than that. This is the entire reason I created this website: so that I can get press screeners from The Asylum.
Note: Christopher Karl Johnson plays Dr. Josef Mengele. I wonder how his portrayal will compare to Clint Howard's award-winning and realistic portrayal in Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne III? I know that's what you're wondering.
Check out the trailer and fall in love all over again:
Hopefully Dominique Swan gets naked (or close to naked) in this movie. I think it's a pretty safe bet, since she was prancing around in her underwear in Face/Off when she was 16, and her next movie was Lolita. If Dominique fights Nazis in her underwear, this may be top 20 of the year material for me.
"Another great thing about being 70,000 light years away from the nearest Starfleet vessel is that once we finally get back to Earth, we can makeup bullshit stories. Off the top of my head: 'We met Amelia Earhart,' 'We singlehandedly eliminated most of the Borg fleet' or 'Paris and I turned into giant pink lizards and mated.'"
That pic looks like the L.A. Zoo.
