A new viral clip has snuck its way online, and was originally only available for fans who cracked a clue left in the film's trailer. However, now that the hard work is done - we have it embedded below!
The clip appears to show an abduction of a teenage boy by a rather determined old gentleman. This sneaky old guy is Richard Jenkins, playing "The Father", which is the nameless equivalent of Håkan in the original story.
I'm extremely curious how this remake is going to play out, and I'm sure I'm not alone. The original Let the Right One In is simply a wonderful film; it is evidence of how vampires are still extremely effective as long as they are supported by a strong character-driven story.
As far as the clip itself - I like it. I like the look of it, I like the feel of it, and I like its use of music. I do have a hard time imagining that Let Me In will truly live up to the original, but I'm starting to wonder if it might not be bad at all.
Let me know if I'm alone in this opinion or not - check out the clip and share your thoughts below!

I truly hate 95% of the remakes made in the last 10 years but I agree this one looks good. I've always liked the title.
I'm gonna have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the night. Yet I am curious to watch more.
I loved Let the Right One In!

I agree, I'm pretty excited for this one Heidi.
