I made this poster. I am somewhat happy with the results. I was attempting to use shapes to create an iconic image. I wanted simple, and I think that is more or less achieved.

I like how minimalist it is - kind of reminds me of something Mondrian or the Fauves artists would have created if they were making horror-inspired poster art. Wink I love bright colors like that red next to the blue background.

I'm very impressed! I have no idea how to do graphics like that. I would just draw and scan it in.

I agree with Heidi Boss. Check out the posters this person has done (Rachael found them) -

Those are what inspired me. I thought it was a cool approach... here is another...

I tend to draw into my computer a lot, because I have a Cintiq. BTW, how does that guy get away with selling prints?

You know what it kind of reminds me of the artwork from "Nightmare before Christmas" sort of I like it.

Very nice work. Would look cool in a retro theater or film festival.

Nobody has turned him yet, basically. Either that, or he's a secret millionaire and has bought lisencing for each and every character and movie.

And so...

I used a film still in this one, but manipulated it after fitting it into the moon.

Here is a very sparse take on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I actually borrowed from one of the remakes for the pose...

While this one is more of what I originally came up with...

I used the original house as a template for the silhouette , but the landscape from the remakes for the dying field.

Oh, man. I'd love a copy of that. Let me know a price.

And The Howling one rocks as well. Let me know what you want for the two.
