The trailer for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" (the prequel to "The Lord of the Rings") is out!
In it, you can see the way Jackson has visualized the tale of young Bilbo Baggins and his journey, with thirteen dwarven warriors, to the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor (and his accidental discovery of the One Ring).
Guillermo del Toro helped write the script for this one, meaning it will be good, along with Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens. It stars Mckellan as Gandalf, once again, (inexplicably older) and Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Elijah Wood, Evangeline Lily, Andy Serkis, and Richard Armitage.
The trailer shows Bilbo meeting Gandalf and the Klingon, er, I mean, "dwarven" warriors (dwarfen?) for the first time. It kind of rocks. It won't be out for a full year:
If you find the trailer somewhat confusing and still need clarification on the plot, let Leonard Nimoy of the golden voice tell you what it's all about:
Joygasms!!
I hope the fat dwarf farts a lot. That would be hilarious.
I'm not even kidding.
