Wretched (www.wretchedmovie.com) will be reviewed in the CINEMACABRE section of the June 1 2009 Rue Morgue Magazine issue, under the Abbreviated Terrors listing! This movie was written and produced and co-directed by heidi (me) and shot by the talented jessica gallant (filmgal) of pretty-scary! It starts Joe Bob Briggs and Jaimie Andrews! Greg Nicotero did Special effects stuff!

Yay!

I hope that means they liked it!

next week's (may 29) episode of rue morgue radio www.ruemorgueradio.com will feature an interview with me, Heidi, about Wretched and www.planetfury.com

Are you SURE? We'd have to start from scratch, since first edit drafts are all low res. Hence why I don't like the way it looks on a big screen - editor screwed us.

I have all the tapes looking at me right here - all very high res and un-cut footage.

I am studying for my Graduate Records Examine right now (I know what you're thinking - awesome! How FUN!) and take it on the 15th. After that, I have a big month long break in between when I start school on July 20th.

Just listened to the second interview and thought you rocked it again, Heidi. You tend to dominate Feedback, which I think he likes. A lot.

I also think he didn't quite get your point about horror––in particular torture porn––and porn being linked to that same nerve center in the brain. They aren't apples and oranges. They're more like red apples and green apples. Or fresh cranberries and canned cranberry sauce. Maybe tangerines and mandarin oranges.

Anyway, nice job.

Thank you for getting my 'porn' comparison! That is exactly what I meant! I think he was just sick of hearing that porn and horror are related, which they are not, but I know a lot of normals believe that.
