My two favorites are Haunted, by Poe, and To Bring You My Love, by PJ Harvey. Coming in at a close third is Boys for Pele, by Tori Amos.

I didn't know feminist horror albums existed. Cool. I saw Tori Amos in college. Good times.

Tori Amos is one of my absolute favorites I seen her three times already. You know originally she was going to base an album on "Vlad the Impaler" but she changed her mind I think that's when she had her miscarriage I have to re-read that again. That would of been awesome concept album.

Tori Amos "Little Earthquakes" has some occult and horror themes in there with certain songs. She has that in a TON of her songs she prays to the great goddess lol and believes in fairies and professed to practice magic I think. Sometimes I don't know if she is actually being serious with her craziness or she knows that attracts people. Well either way I love it lol. My stupid ex says couldn't stand listening to her talk because she will go on about "crazy stuff" although he liked some of her music.

She has good music. I would think she's serious about what she talks about. But, who knows.

That's awesome I think I have that, if not I'm going to rip it, let's not forget Siouxsie and the Banshees although they weren't exactly feminist.

Okay, that PJ Harvey performance is truly something else.

Just to contribute, here's a video from the Grand Ole Party, which has the rarity of a female singing drummer. It's not really horror, but I like the atmosphere of it. I dig 'em.
