Elvira will return to TV in a new run of Movie Macabre on Sept 25th, 2010. !!
Movie Macabre is the amazingly hysterical 2-hour horror hostess TV show starring Elvira (played and written by comedienne Cassandra Peterson) which aired in the 1980's on major networks. Black-clothed, large-breasted Elvira showed terrible horror films and commented on how wonderfully awful they were while introducing an entire generation of girls (myself included) to the world of horror movies. She laso gave us someone to look up to who was gorgeous AND hilarious, something uncommon 30 years ago.

Elvira told Monstersandcritics, "All I can say is, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!"
"Elvira will be every bit as relevant as the first day she burst onto the scene; a beautiful opinionated woman who always delivers just what her audience expects from her," said Hank Cohen, CEO/Partner, Trifecta Entertainment, which will be distributing the series when it returns.
On September 25th, Elvira will be back and she's guaranteed to show us at least 26 horror movies.

Maybe you're right. They haven't announced who will carry it yet. It used to be on network, so I just assumed.... but I may have made an ass out of you and me.
Oh, it's going to be on a broadcast network? I figured it would be on cable, like most everything else interesting and cool.
Bigmac, you can probably catch it on network TV, I'm thinking. And it will probably, I am guessing, be available online on the official network website. I would hope!
