Actress Elske McCain's directorial debut will be the black comedy Stripping For Dummies (working title) through her company Dahlia Jade Productions and low-budget actress Scarlet Salem has been cast as the lead. Salem acted alongside McCain in the short film Pajama Party Massacre. The film will be shot on location in Tucson, Arizona USA.
McCain, who produced the upcoming horror movie Jessicka Rabid, is working on the script currently and of Salem that "this role is being written specifically for her..."
"After being told for years that I should write a 'Strip Club Manifesto' of sorts," says McCain about the plot of the film, "I am channeling my years of stripping experiences into a screenplay that could only be written by somebody who truly knows the exotic dancing scene. Me."
