Elisabeth Sladen, star of Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures, has died at the too-young age of 63.
Sladen was the much-loved actress best known for her role as Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who and CBBC's The Sarah Jane Adventures. She passed away this morning after a long bout with cancer.
The character of Sarah Jane Smith was on the British time-travel science fiction series Dr. Who for the third (Jon Pertwee), fourth (Tom Baker) - from 1973 to 1976 - and 10th (David Tennant) - in 2007 - Dr. Whos. The Sarah Jane Adventures was her very own spin-off series targeted at a much younger audience.
