A brand new zombie film, Eaters, is creeping out from the fabled undead factory that is Italy, and we have the trailer for you to view.
Eaters is most definitely post-apocalyptic, and is set well after the dead have risen and slaughtered the great majority of our fat and comfortable civilization. It follows a small surviving group of men and women, who are not only trying to avoid being eaten, but who also endeavor to discover the cause of the zombie horde menace.
Don't let the drop of Uwe Boll's name at the beginning fool you - the trailer actually looks pretty good. Eaters is directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, and it appears Boll is mainly attached as a promotional tool. The trailer looks gritty and mean, and certainly looks rotting head and shoulders better than the travesty of the recent Survival of the Dead.
So far, there doesn't appear to be a release date planned, and Eaters is yet to even have an IMDB record (at least that I could find). Check out the trailer and let us know what you think with a comment below!
