This has been a long time coming, for those of you who don't know. It's only applicable to the city of Los Angeles, but it's possible other areas could attempt passing similar laws. This is not connected to the Cal-Osha requirements, by the way, which have long been in effect though lots of people do not realize it.

It's lame. It's nothing but puritanical nonsense looking to put pressure on the industry through absurd legislation.

LA county is not so big that they won't make it outside of its borders.

All this will do is take the industry out of Los Angeles. Which is, I think, what these people wanted.

I agree that if there were NO regulations at all, I might be like, "aw those pwr wrokers could get aids" but that's just not the way it is.

I don't really know much about the industry. But I know enough to know that these people pay taxes, have permits, get licenses, and also get mandatory tests.

If porn leaves CA...your economy is dead in the water. Like Hollywood could sustain CA.
