Broad Universe has just relaunched its site, and here's why you should care.
Broad Universe is an online nonprofit organization that promotes equal recognition, pay, and opportunity for women writing and publishing in science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other speculative genres. And I'm fucking proud to have been a Broad since 2008, when I was amazed to find something like it existed. I've gotten most of my awesome literature news over the years directly from
Broad Universe members, and I've been able to share a lot of great news with them.
They've just undergone a major huge ginormous website reboot, and now it has everything you could want. Seriously, if you're a writer in the aforementioned genres or just a fan of the women, consider becoming a member. Check it out.
