	Horror Society's Film Festival 'Women of Horror' lineup! Pretty/Scary produced short horror film Wretched was selected to play at the Horror Society Women of Horror Film Festival in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday April 25th. It'll be playing alongside some great female-helmed/oriented films including Pretty Bloody, which extensively features Pretty/Scary. Pretty/Bloody is a documentary about women in horror by Donna Davies and Kimberly McTaggert. Also playing are Liz Adams's Side Effect and Devi Snively's Death In Charge, which is a huge honor, because both those films are way better than Wretched. Also playing are the features Women's Studies, Phobia, The Making of Sculpture, and Wicked Lake.	03/26/09

And we got to see it. The film about an all-female college (no, not Sarah Lawrence) that practices an extreme form of fanatical feminism from Ningen Manga Productions does break some new ground with concepts of female motivation and sexuality; but it also has some troubling logic, cliché sequences, and inconsistent production value that takes away from the originality of the plot...
