Vote Jen and Sylvia Soska's 'Bad Girls' in Blood Shots short film competition!!!!! The 2009 Blood Shots 48 hour fast horror film competition, run by Kier-La Janisse of Cinemuerte and Celluloid Horror, includes a film from twin sisters and horror filmmakers Jen and Sylvia Soska (directors of Dead Hooker in a Trunk.) Their entry, bad GirLs, was written, shot, cut, and delivered in 48 hours. Each team was given a line of dialogue, a prop, a weapon, and a horror film subgenre.

U.K. 'Ghouls on Film' fest announces lineup! Nia Edwards-Behi's women-only horror festival, Ghouls on Film, has announced the initial lineup! Starting at 3pm on February 20th, 2010 at the Mixing Bowl in Birmingham, United Kingdom is an hour of shorts, including films by Amanda Boyle, Paula Haifley, Faye Jackson, Melanie Light and a brand new short by Maude Michaud.
There will be two feature films screening for your pleasure: Kate Glover’s outback slasher Slaughtered and the UK PREMIERE of the Soska Sisters’ Dead Hooker in a Trunk!
In addition to all this filmic goodness, very special guest Emily Booth will be in attendance and giving us a peek at her brand new webseries, Behind the Screams! Full details of the program will be made available nearer the festival date.

'Dead Hooker in a Trunk' at 'PollyGrind' in Las Vegas Dead Hooker in a Trunk, directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska, screens at 8 p.m. in Las Vegas on May 14, 2010 as part of the PollyGrind lineup.
Starring Jen Soska, Sylvia Soska, Ricki Gagne and C.J. Wallis, this underground sensation about a tale of four friends, fighting for their lives after they discover the body of a dead prostitute in the trunk of their car. Lead by a sexy impulsive Badass, her distant Geek twin sister, their bible thumping Jesus loving Goody Two Shoes friend, and a chaotic rock star Junkie pal, the group has to put aside their differences to dispose of the body.
